Florida National Parks

Want to visit the largest subtropical wilderness in America? Take a trip to Florida, and you’ll see some of the most amazing ecosystems on the planet, including those located inside Everglades National Park.

Encompassing more than 2,300 square miles, Everglades National Park protects more than 25% of the original Everglades in Florida (subtropical wetlands). It’s the third largest National Park in the continental United States and one of the most popular National Parks in the country.

Head to Biscayne National Park (which is within eyesight of downtown Miami), and you can see amazing waters, reefs, and islands. If you’re in search of something more remote, Dry Tortugas National Park is worth the trip, for its world-renowned collection of turtles.
